Wednesday–Thursday 5pm–12am, Friday 4pm–1am, Saturday 3pm–1am, Sunday 5pm–10pm. Closed Monday and Tuesday, except for private events.

We don't have an established dress code. Guests must wear appropriate clothing and shoes at all times. Clothing or accessories displaying political messaging, slogans, or campaign materials are not permitted.

There is not an established minimum as there are generally multiple variables that depend on number of guests, amount of space needed, day/date etc. We can easily create a proposal based on your vision for the event!

How far in advance should I book a private event?

We'd recommend booking 3 to 4 weeks in advance but that can vary depending on the specific date and seasonal demand.

Can I bring my own caterer or vendors for a private event?

Yes! Outside caterers and vendors are responsible for setup, breakdown, and cleaning post-event.

Does Second Story have a DJ or dancing?

Yes! We feature a rotating schedule of DJ's every Friday and Saturday and also for scheduled events on Thursdays.

Our music is generally eclectic and groove-forward rather than one fixed genre. Our guests enjoy jazz, funk, Rock, R&B and Soul. Our DJ programming has expanded into Afro-Caribbean, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall, Disco, House, French House, Tech House, Afro House, Pop, and open-format sets.
